late Valentines....

I made some cute valentines cards for my BF and LO with products from this years and last years Simon says Stamp products. I made LO's super quick on the morning by die cutting felt hearts on my sizzix big shot and using the stamps from this years kit and I used gelatos and distress inks to water colour the other one.

Stamp A Faire Threads challenge

I came upon Danielle Flanders blog and the Threads challenge that is on at Papertrey Ink.
I loved the threads video and was itching to try her thread roses and here's the outcome.
I used a sizzix mason jar die for the vase which I highlighted with a wink of stella and I used glossy accents on the punched heart. I'm really pleased with the overall effect.
It's been so busy over the summer with LO and so much fun (but not much crafting for mummy!) but schools back next week so I may have a bit more me time...

birthday card

Made this quick card using the Simon says stamp April card kit and a craft asylum flower die with my sizzix big shot.
I heat embossed the greeting and used some washi tape on card stock to make the banner. Super quick and super cute :0)
