Stamp A Faire Threads challenge

I came upon Danielle Flanders blog and the Threads challenge that is on at Papertrey Ink.
I loved the threads video and was itching to try her thread roses and here's the outcome.
I used a sizzix mason jar die for the vase which I highlighted with a wink of stella and I used glossy accents on the punched heart. I'm really pleased with the overall effect.
It's been so busy over the summer with LO and so much fun (but not much crafting for mummy!) but schools back next week so I may have a bit more me time...

Been very busy, lots of birthdays and teacher gifts to make so I made it a bit easier by making the teachers a card to put a costa gift card in. I have used up lots of scraps and stamps from the Simon says stamp card kits so a bit of a mix. I have also been using my new wink of stella pen which I've almost used up, its hardly out of my hand!

Made some cards from the June and July simon says stamp card kits,  just bought a clear wink of stella as well so used it the cut out of the smile die.  The nautical one is a card for a man, have so many male birthdays at the mo!
